PBB MISSION AWARDS
In mid 2007, Psychology Beyond Borders launched its inaugural annual PBB Mission Awards. These annual awards were designed to support research and service projects supporting the five key elements of the PBB mission: research, social service delivery, education, public policy development, and networking with the ultimate goal of helping alleviate psychological suffering, and contributing to the prevention, preparedness and response to terror attacks, armed conflict or natural disaster. The response to the call for proposals was significant. PBB received proposals from researchers and aid workers from all over the world, including proposals from Uganda, Sri Lanka, Bulgaria, and the Palestinian territories. Since then, the PBB Mission Awards have become an annual award.
